Annamaria Capicchioni photographer

Annamaria Capicchioni was born in the Rep of San Marino (Italy) but grew up in New York City as a child. At the age of 15 goes back to Italy where she studies and after goes to Urbino University and gets a cum laude degree in foreign languages. She teaches English as a foreign language at the Liceo Classico of San Marino (Junior College) for some time and after gets a PHD in Journalism and Communication at the prestigious LUIIS University in Rome Her thesis cum laude is titled "Sports and Mass Media". After she becomes a free lance writer and photographer for various sports Italian magazines. She presently works for Interperformances.com, an Internatonal sports management group for athletes. Annamaria is in charge of Press and International Relations for the group. Her passion for photography started while she was working as a freelancer for sports magazines While member of FIAF she then started taking various photography courses and doing workshops with international photographers such as C. Avedon, Art Kane , Franco Fontana. She has taken part in numerous photo exhibits, and international photo competitions. Her photos have been published for touristic catalogues and calendars. She is member of the International Society of Photographers. and of Fotomission.org. of Miami and lives partly in Miami and in Italy. One of her photos from the Collection "Women of Perù" has been chosen as finalist for the International Library of Photography World Competition 2006. She has been choosen for the First Photography Biennial Festival organized by Vittorio Sgarbi during Expo 2015.
